Role Purpose
We are seeking a Research Analyst to strengthen our Latin America research team.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the regional political, security, and defence environment and demonstrate strong analytical and writing skills.
This role involves collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data to deliver high-quality intelligence assessments that guide clients’ strategic and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on Latin American political, defence, and security developments.
- Analyze open-source and proprietary data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare concise, well-structured reports, summaries, and analytical briefings.
- Collaborate with regional and thematic experts to support broader intelligence projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of geopolitical, military, and economic dynamics across Latin America.
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and relevance in all published content.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of KshetraPulse’s analytical frameworks and methodologies.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or related fields.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in research, analysis, or intelligence roles.
- Strong understanding of Latin American politics, security, and regional affairs.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in English (Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage).
- Ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Skilled in using data visualization and research tools.
Preferred
- Experience in defence, risk intelligence, or geopolitical research.
- Familiarity with OSINT tools, data analytics platforms, or GIS systems.
- Prior work in an international or research-driven organization.
- Strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration abilities.
