Position Overview

We are seeking a Defense Sales Leader to spearhead KshetraPulse’s business development across the U.S. defense and intelligence sectors.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD) ecosystem, proven experience in enterprise solution sales, and a passion for connecting intelligence capabilities with real-world mission needs.

You will lead a high-performing sales team, develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers, and execute a clear go-to-market strategy for defense clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Design and implement strategies for expanding KshetraPulse’s reach within the DoD and allied defense organizations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored intelligence solutions for client requirements.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with defense and intelligence customers.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and data teams to align customer feedback with KshetraPulse’s offerings.
  • Oversee account renewals, customer retention, and pipeline growth.
  • Represent KshetraPulse at defense conferences, briefings, and industry forums.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting for all defense-sector activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales leadership within the defense or intelligence industry.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. defense structures, procurement processes, and mission needs.
  • Proven success in selling enterprise-level data, intelligence, or analytics solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, mentor staff, and deliver measurable results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working with or selling to the Department of Defense or related agencies.
  • Prior work in open-source intelligence, defense analytics, or software-based intelligence tools.
  • Experience managing strategic partnerships in the defense community.
  • Active or eligible U.S. Security Clearance is a plus.
