Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Israel on Wednesday, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu highlighted that the visit aims to strengthen the growing partnership between the two countries and explore cooperation in economic, diplomatic, and security areas.

“On Wednesday, Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Israel and deliver a speech in the Knesset, Israel’s parliament,” Netanyahu said during a cabinet meeting, emphasizing the importance of closer ties.

The Israeli leader described the visit as part of a broader plan to forge a new alliance that can counter shared “radical” adversaries in the region. He referred to a vision of a “hexagon” of alliances across or within the Middle East, signaling a strategic regional partnership.

This visit marks another milestone in India-Israel relations, following Modi’s previous trip in 2017 and Netanyahu’s reciprocal visit to India in 2018. Modi expressed his anticipation for discussions during the visit, emphasizing the value India places on its enduring friendship with Israel, built on trust, innovation, and commitment to peace.

The upcoming talks are expected to cover economic initiatives, security cooperation, and joint diplomatic efforts, reflecting the deepening bilateral relationship between the two nations.
